Life is taking one of those wonderful turns today. I love it when coming out of a dark spell, and I love how it’s always the things you don’t expect that break you into the light. Example: yesterday I got locked out. Which would have been a bad thing, but the weather was gorgeous. I sat outside in the sunshine, and just enjoyed it. Was a pleasant few hours, unable to do anything about anything. Had a chat with a couple of neighbours that I hadn’t yet bothered speaking to. Reminds me of dandelions.
How It Began
"Cast were given the opportunity to take items of their wardrobe that they liked, and I considered it a great compliment that they liked so many things. The rest of the items were inventoried and put up for sale. Over 2000 people came through on the first day alone. It was a bit of a zoo, but incredibly fun, meeting fans and seeing items go to good homes, after the sale any left over items were donated to various charities." - Patrick Antosh, QAF Costume Designer discussing the Toronto set sale in 2005.
